Days gone by

A few days (actually two weeks) have gone by since I last blogged so I figured I better update. The inconstant weather has my mood out of whack again. One day I'm in my shorts and a tee-shirt and the next day I'm bundled up waiting for the snow to come. I hope it warms up soon so that I can be on an even keel again. I may be up for a promotion to full time plus benefits at work, pretty exciting. I mean it isn't the greatest job in the world but I might as well make the most out of it while I'm there, right. Lastly I got my new cell phone. It is an LG Rumor2. I love it because it has the slide out keyboard for texting since I text to a few select people (Ben, Corki, just to name a couple). I also made sure my phone plan was for unlimited texting so I don't rack up another large bill. Anyways... I have a concert on Sunday at the Toledo Museum of Art and that is about the most exciting thing I have to look forward to happening this weekend. That's all for now, I'll be back when I have something new or exciting.

Today

Well the day was better for me. I got a little sun and had a nice dinner with Ben. I hate that Mike works nights. We used to have dinner together all the time and now we have to have dinner at 3 in the afternoon. Oh well... doesn't matter. I still had a relatively good day and hopefully I will have a repeat tomorrow.

Home sweet home

Well we came back from Tennessee on Monday. It was a rather relaxing weekend for the most part. I received many text messages but I did still want to keep in touch with life in Ohio (most of them were from Ben and not very informative of life in Ohio. Oh well). I would be willing to move south if it wasn't so damn hilly (kind of got to my stomach a little bit). I am happy to be home though and my "cabin fever" seems to be dissipating. Not that I had cabin, just my depression was into high gear this past season. Hopefully the sunshine will come out more and help me feel better soon.

Out of Town

Mike and I are headed to Tennessee in the morning. We are going down to see his son and daughter and their families. On the way down we will be stopping in Findlay to pick up his grandson. I am hoping that this little vacation will get me out of whatever cabin fever I have. On the down side I will be missing my cousin's bridal shower. Sometimes you have to disappoint some people to make others happy. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Easter.

Why am I doing this?

I have that question stuck in my head frquently it seems. Why am I doing anything anymore. I am in a rut and so hopefully this whole "blogging" thing will get me out of it. I sort of feel like I'm going crazy so bear with me while I ramble in cyberspace.
